Marilyn McCormick Summer Youth Workshop 2026 – The Addams Family Musical (Younger@Part)
July 13 – 24 | Ages 8–17 | $175 (Scholarships Available!)
This summer, young performers will experience the full magic of putting on a show from start to finish! Join us at Ferndale Repertory Theatre for two weeks of creativity, collaboration, and performance as we stage a full production of The Addams Family Musical (Younger@Part Version)! Registration is open!
Workshop Details:
- Group A (Ages 8–12): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Group B (Ages 13–17): 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Performances:
- GROUP A: Friday + Saturday at 11:00 AM
- GROUP B: Friday + Saturday at 3:00 PM
What to Expect:
- Daily warm-ups, theatre games, and skill-building activities.
- “Topic of the Day” workshops exploring costume design, scenic design, prop making, directing, and more!
- Hands-on involvement in the creative process — onstage and behind the scenes.
- Fun, high-energy rehearsals where students will learn music, choreography, and scenes.
- A full production experience complete with set, costumes, props, and lights!
Casting Info:

Auditions will take place on the first day of the workshop; all performers will be “cast” in the show. Scripts and audition materials will be sent out in June.
No experience necessary — just a willingness to learn, create, and have fun!
